About Raid Japan
Raid Japan is a Japanese lure brand from Okayama, founded in 2011 by Takashi Kanamori. Kanamori designed lures with a clear focus: catching predators from the bank. That mindset runs through the whole range, from the Level Vib lipless to the soft baits. The brand produces in limited runs. New colours and models often sell out within hours in Japan, and imports outside Japan are limited. Popular soft baits like the Super Fish Roller are therefore hard to find and sell out fast. The Super Fish Roller is the brand's best-known soft bait. It is a V-tail hover minnow with three-dimensional scales across the whole body that grip the water. Combined with the soft material, that gives a rolling, slowly hovering action, ideal for mid-strolling and hover-strolling. Available in 5 and 6.5 inch, and in a Fish-Skin finish with a realistic look. Alongside the Super Fish Roller, Raid Japan makes the Fullswing Shad paddletail and the Fantastick pintail. The baits work on zander, pike and perch, on a jighead, cheburashka, dropshot and free rig.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Raid Japan Super Fish Roller?
The Super Fish Roller is a V-tail hover minnow with three-dimensional scales across the whole body. The soft material and the scale texture give a rolling, hovering action. Suitable for mid-strolling and hover-strolling for zander and pike, available in 5 and 6.5 inch.
Which Super Fish Roller size should I choose?
The 6.5 inch is the most-chosen size for zander and pike on a jighead. The 5 inch is more compact for selective fish or smaller prey. The Fish-Skin version has an even more realistic, photo-realistic finish.
How do you fish the Super Fish Roller?
Rig it on a jighead, set slightly back for extra roll, so it hovers slowly and horizontally through the layer. Fish it with a calm mid-stroll or hover-stroll. For more depth, use a heavier jighead.
Why is Raid Japan hard to find?
Raid Japan produces in limited runs to protect quality and exclusivity. In Japan releases often sell out within hours and imports are limited, so popular models like the Super Fish Roller sell out fast.
What fish does the Super Fish Roller work on?
Mainly zander and pike. The rolling, hovering action suits a calm presentation in canals, rivers and lakes. In the smaller size it also works for perch.
